My one cat completely ignores this thing but the other likes playing with the air bubble and laying on it. To be fair they are seniors, I think a younger cat would take to this and like playing with it. Cat's nails do not seem like they will rip through plastic. Easy to fill and setup, no complaints.

I was a bit concerned that my cat’s claws would rip through it, but after two weeks, it’s still holding up great! The bed feels solid, and my cat loves lounging on it every day.
